anyone got inner axels for my 78 40 or 88 62, and hubs for both? ??? please, if I was near I would be there, after a few beers I was thinking of making the trip saturday, but if they are oing to be curshed monday I woul dnot make it,,,,,, please!!!???

there's two of them laying by the first garage door when you walk through the office...still attached to inners. tell him they're worth $5-10 but he'll still probably charge you $25 for the inner/birf combo.

still plenty of 60's with axles unless they've crushed them by now... :eek:

also, in the last section of the building, there's a late model 40 with the front end intact except for hubs.
 
Just crazy. I talked to Sean this afternoon and theres lots left. Especially 55 stuff. Damn Ige, I wouldn't let a giant grapple keep you from takin some inners ;)

Any chance of saving some sections of body from a 60 series? if you could hack out any rear quarter panels from a 60 or 62 I would be interested. Even if you could cut them off with a pair of tin snips I think I could get them on my truck. Also if there is any chance for front quarter panels for the same I would pay for them. Light surface rust is ok, I would do the body work any ways. Also interested in a transfer case for an FJ62. I can pay cash if the price is right. If it is too much of a PITA I fully understand, sounds like you have your hands full.
 
I don't know if i am too late or not but are there any hub caps for 60's still on some of those trucks? If so i am needing front, rear or both if they have them. Some one please PM and let me know how i can get $$ to the person pulling them.

Saw pics on the other thread...very depressing!!
 
Is there a 62 grill left by chance? If so I would really appreciate it if you could grab it for me. Thanks.

55 quarters-Windshield

Hey Guys,

First, Kudos for the heads-up Special Forces Salvaging. These Forums really make quick communication possible to the entire community.

I live down in Durango, just got a '76 55 a while back.

I need rear quarters (cut outs) and a front driver lower fender

also could use a rocker (driverside) til i get the sliders

Any of that stuff out there? Or should I call?
 
I would like a set of birfs and hubs for spares for my 77disks I swapped onto my 72'40. If you get a chance just email me. I can see the whole friggin country is trying to contact you right now. Good work though, trying to save the good stuff. Guy could have made a killin if he'd have looked up what he had online and seen how desirable so much of it is. The birfs alone. . . bless your hearts.
