Somebody likes Cruisers. A 62 and a 40 in the trailer for The Old Man with Jeff Bridges coming out on FX in June.

New Expedia commerical with lots of lemons and narration by Ewan McGregor has an FJ50 in the end scene.

Spotted this on Law Order rerun. Season 1 episode 13. First shown January 15 1991.
Did not mention Toyota or see any sign of a Toyota sign but sure looked like it was filmed in a Toyota dealership. Suppose to be in New York city but have a feeling it was filmed in Canada.

The red sports car looks like a Mitsubishi 3000GT. The lettering on the wall behind them in the first picture "Tredia" is an older Mitsubishi.

Must be an older Montero. My bad. That would make sense. Thought red one was a Celia. Looked a Celia in the mid eighties which I believe was a T top. The 3000GT makes. Remember Dodge was selling a couple versions I bought the seats out of a late eighties two door Montero. The driver's seat was a suspension seat. Wondered why Toyota never imported the 70 series. The two looked very much alike and Mitsubishi was able to get them imported.

Still have the seats. Rear is a fold and tumble.

Abigail, I just saw this just now on TV! Anyway, it's an FJ40 in the end of the Expedia "lemons" commercial. Appears to be a later model 81-83 because of the white wheels. Appears to be a RHD only because the B post is blocking that side and it seems pretty clear there is no one on the left. You can hear the motor sound too. Any opinions on the motor sound; gas or diesel?

Watched the Netflix movie "How it Ends" Saturday. There's a 60 series (never moves) parked near the cabin at the end of the movie. Hey it's worth a mention. :meh:
It is a 1984 BJ60. My friend built that 60. The car agent for this movie is a Toyota guy. He has a 4runner. He sourced Toyota to be in the movie. They rented the 60 for a few weeks to film the movie.
