Today I confirmed that there is still at least one HJ47 troopy in active service with the Rural Fire Service in my region.

Its a later model HJ47 with taco and newer dash cluster, disk brakes ect. and its set up for communications with different plugs ect running to the outside.

Its in damn good condition, Im just annoyed I didnt have my phone on me.

kinda doubt it, its says Volunteer on the rear window, just someones personal rig.
 
Its not the right red.

Im guessing an owner was a member, I have never seen an Aus Fore service shorty.
 
Hi sorry for my bad english, I have one, is a FJ56-k
It has the H41 4 speed trany and K082 axles, 4.11 gearing, both axles full floating, has only 17.500 km.
I velive ist 1976, has a 2F engine, vacuom operated transfer case, and more and more
