When I first bought my 200, I thought the cooler would be useless frippery. But I’ve found that I love it. Particularly on long road trips, I always have cold bottles of water within reach, and I don’t have to lug around a cooler.
On the 200, there is a separate upper storage tray above the cooler, so more than enough storage. I haven’t looked to see if the GX has the same.
I have something similar in my Coolbox. The cool box in the 200 is the best feature you never knew you needed. @M1911, if you don't already have one, I would absolutely recommend this storage tray that sits above the cool box and is secured by a top flange that rests on the opening of the cool box.
Does this one fit the 250? Def want one of theseI have something similar in my Coolbox.
Edited to add: I checked my order history in Amazon. I have the very same coolbox insert.
I don't know. I don't have access to a 250.Does this one fit the 250? Def want one of these

It's an idiotic feature in the 250, considering how little storage space there is anywhere else in the cabin. Still not fully convinced there isn't a sunglasses compartment buried somewhere in the rearview mirror industrial complex, but losing hope daily.I have never had a center armrest cool box and never want one. In fact, I've actively avoided them.
Seems like it's one of those things that's really great for one particular purpose and terrible for anything else. I use my center console for so much storage that a cool box is a no go.
GX cool box is much smaller, and it no longer has the upper second storage area that the 100's and 200's used. New box is not only much smaller but also nowhere near as deep. Thew wife can no longer fit her favorite wine bottle and she's not happy. When I first bought my 200, I thought the cooler would be useless frippery. But I’ve found that I love it. 7.5" deep, and the cut out in the lid gives you another 1.5".Can someone with a 250 confirm the depth of the cool box?

I ran into a new LC and it appears to have the same box as the GX.
That was the beauty of my 200 cool box. I could buy a refrigerated 6 pack from the store, toss it in, and keep it cold on the ride home.too small for a 6 pack
You don’t like driving a vacuum cleaner sounding truck????I stopped by the local Toyota dealership to see if they had any LC's that I could look at. As it turned out, one had just been rejected by a buyer and was available for a test drive. I took it out for a 5 mile spin and pretty quickly decided that I'll pass on the 4 cylinder/hybrid motor. The NVH was annoying to say the least.
On the plus side, power was pretty good if you looked past the NVH issues, steering was tight, it soaked up bad roads pretty good and overall it drove and stopped well.
Doors were indeed "tinny" and the sheet metal seems pretty thin compared to my 100 series. Drivers cockpit seemed pretty tight for my 6'4" 230 lb frame compared to our 100.
I'll look for an opportunity to drive a GX 550, but at the moment, I'll gladly take the hit in fuel economy for a more pleasant driving experience.
No. TCCN mistakenly says the limit is for the whole cargo bay. It's just for the little removable cargo pocket panel. You'd be hard pressed to even get 130lbs on that panel alone. Not to mention safety thresholds. Is it true the cargo area is only rated for 130lbs due to the battery in the 250?
Does that mean drawers and fridges are basically off limits?
that makes a lot more sense. Thank youNo. TCCN mistakenly says the limit is for the whole cargo bay. It's just for the little removable cargo pocket panel. You'd be hard pressed to even get 130lbs on that panel alone. Not to mention safety thresholds.
