Looking for some help here:
I have a potential offer to swap my 80 series for a FJ62 with a L83 v8.
I have always wanted one of these.
I want to know what I am getting into.
The L83 for the swap was not brand new when put in. The engine rebuilt/resealed L83, w/ a Texas Speed AFM/DOD delete kit, new camshaft, lifters, and lifter trays.
Does anybody have any experience with or know much about this sort of engine work?
