I just wanted to say thanks to everybody for a great time at the rock park. Next time I hope to be a little more prepared for the trails. In any case it was nice to finally try my hand at some rocks, done lots of mud and snow, but never anything like yesterday. You guys were all super supportive, and I owe a special thanks to @Robkc for spotting me an entry fee ( bring cash, not cards ) and a radio. You guys and your families were all great to hang out with.

It was great wheeling with you @half k cruiser! The kids and my dad had a great time yesterday too. Kaleb will forever have a story to tell about how he blew a tire wheeling up over some rocks the first time he was EVER behind the wheel of any vehicle!

Oh, and funny enough...I think my Dad's favorite part of the trip was meeting another Auburn grad in Kansas. He said a couple of times, "If I knew there'd be an Auburn guy there, I would've worn my War Eagle T-shirt!"

That's classic! Next time we all get together, I'll have to remember to wear one of my Beat Bama shirts. It was nice meeting him!

Bump. We're heading out to KS Rocks this weekend (Aug 15th). It'll be a day trip like last time. So far we have a few folks going including rob and Matt B. Disco Erik will be riding.

Anybody else in for a quick day trip?

Would be super fun! But I'm slammed the next few weekends unfortunately. :(

How'd that bumper turn out, Jack?

Ahhh that's fair! Next time we'll make it happen!

Bumper is lookin' awesome! Big thanks to Rob for making the cut on the frame and for Disco Erik for helping out on the install. I think from start to finish, it was about 5 hours.

Something tells me I'll be graduating to the blue trails this weekend.

Trying to lose the "grocery" status?

No chance this weekend. Got a list of stuff to do, some is SMORR prep work. Still hoping I can make it down to SMORR for Saturday.
