I have been impressed with the LRA 12.5 gallon auxiliary gas tank that allowed me to run trails in both Moab and the San Juans without the need of extra gas cans. It allows you to retain the spare tire under the Land Cruiser with a little loss in clearance due to the spare hanging a little lower.

I’m sure @kreiten has a picture in his collection showing off my rear.

How much lower will the spare hang with the LRA 12.5 installed?

To touch on @Atwalz comment about running a 1/2 tank of fuel on Top of the world, none of the rigs encountered the evap codes, however boiling gas was mostly an issue we saw in Moab. Even with the fuel down to 1/4 tank, you could literally see the vapors coming out of the gas cap on most of the rigs. When the gas cap was opened, you could also hear the gas bubbling through the filler neck. Not sure if this is by design, but Dave from Toyota definitely confirmed that this is a known issue during last year’s LCDC dinner. For what it’s worth, when the cruising range says “0” miles left, we were able to drive about 40 miles back to town without running out of fuel.

Dust was def a factor this year in Telluride, for those without snorkel's bangin the S outta the air filters became a morning ritual:)

Between HITR and the dust in CO, my cabin filter actually clogged up to the point I lost 75% of my airflow, and it came on quick. Probably got a cup of dust out of it whacking it on my tire. Engine filter wasn't much better.

I replaced the air filter yesterday and have an air cabin filter coming this weekend.

Moab pre funk top of the World! Thanks to all the peoples theory's we ran in Moab with very little gas smell and no codes, added some excitement finishing each trail singing the Gaslight Anthem!

Great pic Ken, those shelves look a lot easier in pics than in real life. Coming down in the dark was fun. A lot of shock guard, rlca, pumpkin, and rear bumper dragging. Priceless memories.
