Could it have been done in a stock 200 without damage? Just sliders?

Sliders and A/T tires are must. You may scratch the bumpers. That about it. I ran both years with stock suspension. First year was A/T tires and sliders. This year I added skid plates, Metal tech rear lower control arms and rear bumper. They all were scratched.

Thank you. That is what I would expect.

And I would remove the front tow hooks during wheeling. It's a nice mod. I bent a tundra tow hook on Hell's Revenge in Moab.

Did it all with street tires and street height. Granted my steps are now scrap, but sliders were in the plan. Got stuck twice, both times due to the mud. Build is planned, timing just didn't work out for this trip. Regardless I was really pleased with how it performed.

@ethernectar you were the bomb man, running mostly stock and crushing it! I know you are planning upgrades, but you really proved what an LC off the lot can do. I'm keeping tabs, going to be looking for you to highlight your build/upgrades before Ouray 2017!

@kreiten keep 'em coming, trust us, we can handle it!

Thanks Kevin and LOL, just finished adding some details to the build thread a few minutes ago. Frankly I'm shocked that those crappy dealer-installed cheap street tires held up through those rocks. Someone here in socal asked if I was in an accident when they saw the passenger-side steps, lol. Lift and bumper are waiting at the shop, just have to sort out tires now. The 285/70's look like the key.

If you dig the southwest, there's some landscape pics from my four-corners circuit here.

Last thought @codyaustin5 - can you add the whole SmugMug gallery link to the first page in the meet thread.

Will plan to see you all at the 2017 Land Cruiser Vacation Club gathering!

"Land Cruiser Vacation Club" - holy crap thats the new name....love it
