Did an oil change. Put in some quality Amsoil 10w-30 XL synthetic. Also found a bad leak coming from the rear sliding window. Duct taped it temporarily till I had time to put some FIPG over the seal.

Here are a couple of random pics from July. The second and third was when I drove my grandma up to her doctor in Adairsville. I had some time before I needed to pick her up, so I decided that I would go spend some time checking out the Jeeps at the Pre-Owned Jeep Store in Cartersville . They loved the 80! In fact they loved it so much they wanted me to trade it for a 2006 LJ 
. They also let me take it out onto their obstacle course

Doesn't look like much of an obstacle course... well, I guess you don't want to have anything too difficult. Then the J**Ps wouldn't be able to do it.

Lol true, its wasn't much, but it has some good stuff, but nothing a Cruiser can't handle. The rock course was the most extreme. I tried it but I kept on spinning out. Turns out I forgot to lock the hubs

Here are a couple of pics from my trip to Beasley Knob with a friend visiting from Virginia. I had read all about how Beasley is pretty tough, especially after it rains. Luckily for us, it only sprinkled that morning ;p. My friend's rig is a 2003 F-250 extended cab long bed 4x4. It had no lift, and was only riding on 285 Michelin LTX's. However, this beast went EVERYWHERE 
!!!! It was truly amazing 
. Only came out with a trashed front steering stabilizer, a dent in the bull bar, and some well used skid plates 
. Really shows that these beast's can make excellent trail rigs, where they can fit . I know it's not really tech on my cruiser, but I love full size rigs, thats why I love my 80 .

Here are some pics flexing out on my friend's grandparent's property, located ironically right across the highway from Beasley.
Duuuuuude! LJs are one of the few jeeps that are cool!! but id still probably rather have an 80. A little late haha, but sweet photogs man, we need to hit the trails before you head back off to Milly if possible!

Ok y'all it's been a while since I've posted up in this thread. Been doing a lot of wheeling, especially with my bud Patrick (robustbambi). I'll try and get some pictures up from all of last years wheeling trips. But in the meantime nothing really has been done to the 80. So come Christmas I decided I'd return the favor to her for treating me well and get her some bling. one thing I've always wanted for the truck was a roof rack. I love the looks of trucks with racks decked out with lights, jacks, shovels, and carrying a spare tire. I started cruising CL for some good deals, and found some nice things. But I then got a slamming deal on a Yakima basket from a friend of a friend. It came complete with the optional extension, hi-lift jack holder, and shovel holder, all for only $100.

Here you can see the length of the basket. I didn't take measurements but the thing is LONG!!!
When you said it was a yakima, i thought you were talking about those gay little things that subarus like to drive around with haha. But that thing is large and in charge lol. Cant wait to see that mounting system in person and I'm REALLY glad you finally have a place to put all that s*** you have in the trunk

The rack itself is pretty lightweight, probably no more than 40 or so pounds, so it wasn't hard to swing it up on top of the 80, but I would advise that two people do this together. It is also a pretty simple design. It is held together with these small bolts that screw into nuts inside the main rails of the rack. Easy to take apart and add/remove extensions or just disassemble. The rack is then secured to crossbars with these clamps that screw together.
