I have been told that Fox does not make a shock to drop into the 100 Series but I could be wrong. A few guys have put FJ Cruiser shocks on the back but had to revalve for a heavier truck. The Fox fronts are a semi custom set up with limit straps and some work to get the lower mount to work. That is all second hand info though. Be very careful with shocks on the front due to potential problems with over extesion on the droop. Several problems can occur with this. 1) the upper control arm can hit the shock, 2) the steering link end can bind (break), and the lower ball joint can over extend, not to mention the excessive CV angle. I would wait for more info from Slee or check out the new ones from King.

So the fox's look like there a little bit better, but probably nothing i would ever feel, being how much better they both are then stock.

So I found at least one online store carrying the new King shocks for the LC 100. As I suspected, they are not cheap, around $1600 for the full set!!

Now I wonder what Slee will be charging for his setup...

Got a link for the King Shocks?

Naive question

What would you charge to convert a 2004 LX470 to your shock set-up? What would be involved?

Sorry to jump in with such a simple-minded question, but what are the specific benefits that a coil-over setup would provide over the stock AHC suspension or otherwise?

You can't mount coil over shocks on a 100 series, those coil overs are for the 120 platforms.

The advantage of king shocks over AHC would be the ability to tune and rebuild the shocks, as well as just overall greater performance.

Well, the shocks are just that, shocks, you have to change the torsion bars and rear springs as well. So cost of parts plus labor. If you need a quote, please email.

I doubt coil overs will fit. We barely fit a 2.5" body shock in the A arms.

When they are ready for public consumption, we will put them on the site. We are working on them, and have some sets out there. Still sorting out mounting issues on the rear.

As for length, the front is as long as you can fit without stressing the A arms etc, and the rear is longer then OME offerings.

That statement sounds like the travel is in between OME standard length shocks and the N74L's. Is this correct?
