Dan you're welcome to join us any time.

And I'd love to do a day at Reading Anthracite. I had a one year membership and went twice but got pissed off about all the ATV's and side by sides whizzing by me. Would like to go with someone who knows their way around as I had no idea where I was going. Darkwater is about twenty minutes from my house.
Hi Gary,
Lol, I only went there once with the big 80 and for sure there were a lot of ATV’s and cross bikes.
I am not that familiar at all with the property, the time we went were looking for black and red trails which they were impossible to find for a first timer. Not doing any of that now, but we hit a lot of green/blue trails. It’s a bit confusing for me as well.
I will love to go back and do something laid back

I know the black and red trails pretty well and most of the blue stuff at FRO at least in the Darkwater and St. Kierans. This is a black trail, once it gets cooler out I go out and just explore. Despite having a buggy I go out year round and make extra effort to get out in the snow.

The "Rock Garden" at Darkwater Tract is most expansive (and intimidating) area I've ever had access to. I was able to tiptoe through the bottom of the gully where your pix are taken, but had to winch myself out and over the ledge back to the trails. I was solo at the time and unwilling to try too much, but looks like we could spend hours in there tackling obstacles!

Get your rig running @jamarquardt22 :bounce:

I will add, this area is very raw land, lots of loose shale and moving rocks....

There are a few little blue trails spread around the property, and one serious black trail that is a creek running straight up the ridge. Definitely impassable for me on 35s.

My pictures are from a trail called Death valley out towards 61. The trail that goes up with running water is All meat no taters. Your pictures look to be from the X-rock and street rock courses which are also super fun.

I typically go out on Sundays if anyone is interested.

I've got @Crusha goody bag from cmcc. If anyone is driving near Lancaster and wants to get it for him that would be sweet.

Next event on my radar is the Capital Cruisers Fall Crawl at the Cove in Gore, VA.

I know a few Keystone members are attending, but registration has been full for weeks.

I'll be there too and so will Crusha. Who else?

Unfortunately I'm out this year gentlemen - but have an awesome time. Always thoroughly enjoy Fall Crawl - and stealing @shmukster 's Subaru when I break things on the 40!
