Key will not unlock doors

This is the 2nd 80 that has had this problem . 1st 1995 Key fob battery died and the manual key will not unlock the door. 2nd 1993 no key fob cant lock or unlock doors anyone have a hack or a fix for this ?

Bring your registration and license to your local dealership. They'll cut you a factory grade key based on your 80's VIN. This worked for me.

This ^^^ the keys have been recut so many time at this point they don’t work well.
Mine won’t open the back hatch.
So I need to do the same thing.

Thanks guys , That is too simple hahaha . I was thinking it may be a key but just wasn"t sure if it wasn't security system related
