I'm sure I'll be reading through the site quite a bit in the upcoming months. Hasn't run in quite awhile, got some rust but seen worse

Thanks for that. I roof rust is the biggest problem for me. Was planning on leading it. Either way it's alot of work. There's more then the pictures show

The roof rust is because that roof basket causes the seam at the drip rail to open. There's just an elastomeric bead there from the factory that gets stiff and brittle after 30 years and easily fails with the addition of those roof baskets. If you're planning on keeping that basket, best is to use 4 feet per side to more evenly distribute the forces on the drip rail.

If you do lead the roof, please document the process - it's a lost art!

Most either glass it or weld in patches or bondo.
