Saw that thread the other day as well and it is awesome........ wish we had that scenery around here.
Gehn and myself will be doing the something similiar this summer. We are meeting up the first of July in Grants, New Mexico and following as closely as we can the Continetal Divide thru NM, CO, and ending in Rawlins, WY and roughly 90% will be offroad. The route that we will be following will be very similiar to the one taken by the Disabled Explores in there FJC's last summer as well as the Land Rovers CDT expedition led by Tom Collins back in the early 90's....... we've got 3 weeks to hit as many of the famous 4wd trails CO has to offer. Keep an eye out for a thread on our trip this coming summer and if any one is going to be out that way this summer lets meet up
JP
I'll be watching closely. Would like to do about 2 weeks next summer.
