Is the 4 Sons meeting point for Saturday morning, before heading up?

Yes it is. From there they will caravan to state route 169 and interstate 17. If you read the first post for those wanting a later start will be meeting in Camp Verde later.
I'll be at 4Sons, I think Murf and CJ will be there as well.
I will be going up Friday night to camp with the other two going up Friday.
Just wanted to make sure that is still the case... The earlier the better for me, no A/C.

1987 Mercedes Benz 240GD... ex Danish military. No A/C, No Power steering, No Radio, etc.

I would plan on camping. Coming back Saturday evening will be a lot hotter then Sunday morning. If I brought my FJ40 once back tp 7,000' it was be staying there not driving back to the valley.
AFter this hot weekend that might change. Woould also keep a eye on the website could post Friday a change for the weekend. Seen it happen before.
saddletramp do you already have a camp spot you know about in mind? Generally where would that be?
We have an area in mind, there were several places that woul support a large group.

Not gonna make this one. You guys have a safe trip and look foward to the pictures. Gonna endure the blistering heat forecasted for this weekend. Bring back some cooler weather.

I would recommend at least a few people bring some big water jugs for extinguishing fires as well. That means ours, and any others that we may find smoldering away in the forest.
No problem. I'll fill up some spares.
I've decided to head up with the Friday night crew and camp both nights. ill miss out on theSat AM meeting at the 4 Brothers meeting spot but looks like there will be plenty others there. See you at the Dewey turnoff of I17 at the 169 junction Sat am!
The folks that are going up Friday night, we are meeting at 86th place, on the south side of Cactus (Cactus and 101) with a 530 pm departure. We are planning on meeting at the turn off to Stoneman Lake at 7pm approximately to meet up with @ftbshop and anyone who happens to be there. @Chrismanjs i have pm'd you my cell info.
