I'm swapping out the old jump seat covers for some from cruiser corps I bought about a year ago but haven't found time to install.
Does anyone have any tips for getting the edge around the corners to look better?

FWIW - Mine has a wire, about the thickness of a coat-hanger, that runs thru the edge. But the covers on my jump seats were replaced and not original.

Here are a couple of photos of how the upholster did mine:

I forgot to clip the loop off.

I cut a tiny slit on the edge of my ccot covers about an inch or 2 from the end and reused the wire (yes slightly thinner wire than coat hanger)

Edit
The reason I made the slit 1 inch from the end (on the inside) was so no loop of wire hung out the end as seen in post above. The loop at the end prevents it poking through the vinyl.

just checked my jump seats... a very thin rope (like a shoelace) is threaded through the hole length of the cover. Then it is pulled tight to get the right looking rounded edge. I remember having to tie the string to a coat hanger and then sliding it all the way through. No need to cut or drill i promise.

thanks im traveling with work for a few days but i will probably have thanks giving day to work on the cruiser. Ill try and find some thin bailing wire to use and cut a small hole in the slit. I want to try the front seats but i think I should just break down as much as I can and take to an upholsterer or maybe just the bottoms to them.
I was able make the foam for the jump seats by just cutting the pattern onto a new piece of fabric and adding a layer of plastic between. I think the front seats Ill have to take the only route and pay the extra fees to order from sor
