Definitely NOT John's Machine Shop in Olathe.

I've had better luck with Davis Machine Shop at 59th and Nieman Rd in Shawnee.

Do you not have a local NAPA that machines heads ?

Noland's Head downtown has a good reputation. We've used them for Toyota forklift heads at work and they did the head on my 22re I got from olsonm. He rebuilds 22res and I believe they are his go to shop.

I recall that the guy that did the head work over there for decades, left a few years back.

He did, they got a new guy the work I've had done by him looked great.
