THANK YOU!Consensus seems to be 275/70r18 or 285/65r18. I'll probably go with the latter. It's tall enough.

I was adamant about Terra interior . I almost bought silver, though, but ultimately liked the contrast of gray against the brown interior better.
I’m feeling same way .... have a very decent offer on a 19’ from dealer. But it’s black/ black and I don’t know that I want to compromise. I feel if paying that much and I’m driving it until the wheels fall off or my wheels fall off I’m going to get what I want. It’s the damn patience that’s getting me... I want it my my driveway now![]()
Thanks my Escalade has terra and I love it.... and tons of compliments too!! I’m leaning toward holding out.
Mind DM me how much you paid for the platinum warranty. I have the same mentality as you. My concern is when I read the VSA contract there is a ton NOT covered .... some of which was covered on my caddy warranty (which has saved my ass - 20k total in the past 12 months on a 15’ model - touch screen, engine issues, failed lifters, broken electronic lift on storage compartment, blurred HUD, the list goes on and I’m done - checking this thing in ASAP and excited about LC) - curious as to your thoughts and others thoughts on not covered items...
I think I paid around $3500-$4000 for both the 6 year warranty and 6 year maintenance.I paid $2,000 for a 6yr/100k miles Platinum warranty 10 days ago on a new 2018 Silver/Terra.
That seems really, REALLY good!Willing to divulge where you landed on price in new 18’ or 19’ LC? Currently have dealer down to 75k for 19’ black on black .... I negotiate price for a living so I love to have fun with car buying!!!
Thanks... good info. I plan on powder coating as well ...That seems really, REALLY good!
For comparison:
IIRC we ended up paying ~76k for a leftover 2017 LC200 in March 2018. The truck was listed as new (~50miles) for 86k IIRC. We were bargaining hard, and I mean hard, as we initially also considered other brands/models so we were not committed. We were told it is a "monotrim" and there were no options. It came with rear seat DVDs which we were told were not removable/non-negotiable. As a 2017, the truck does not have electric gate.
(We ended up really liking the DVDs, the kids love those rather, so it worked out for the best)
As far as availability, the LC200 supply was super short - there were literally 2 new trucks to chose from in greater St. Louis, MO area at the time of purchase, plus a dealer demo listed at basically new price.
So far, the truck is essentially completely stock. I have had the OEM rims powdercoated for a total of $800 (I realize this was a bit on the expensive side but I really wanted to have it done right - worked out GREAT). I considered upgrading the wheels and tires but now with the rims blacked out I'm having hard time justifying it. The OEM have the perfect offset etc., and I have had zero issues towing our 24' boat and navigating various ramps.
Hope this helps! This forum rocks, and the LC200 puts a smile on my face every single time.
Here she is - sitting in my garage at work, waiting for me, lol (Good Landy!)

It seems like such a tricky market. The volumes of LC200 sold here in the US are so low, the price for these vehicles is SO MUCH higher abroad! I've heard the used LCs (including unsold leftovers - which become "used" over time) can legally be exported... Which would explain why the prices never really drop that much on that inventory. It could be wrong/misinformed though - just something I've heard, but I could not verify. What is the true cost to dealers I’m tired of them telling me they have 82k in the vehicle and that they taking a loss .. I guess the majority of believe them?

$75,000, WOW that's 10X the MSRP I paid for a 1977 FJ55. I tried negotiating with 3 dealerships, one out of state, for a 2018 Blue Onyx Pearl for $75K (10 X the MSRP of my FJ55 was my goal). There were no BOP LCs in KS region in Sept. My local dealer had no interest. One an hour away quoted $77,277 shuttled in from out-of-state. An OKC dealer wouldn't go lower than $77K. We drove 2 hours away for a 2019 for $78,200 + $499 dealer fee. NO REAR ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, but it did come with 3rd row seats & 2 pairs of wireless headphones (?).
So YES, you've negotiated a good deal IMHO.
The sales mgr threw a fit when we said the console was too far back for my wife, 5' 1", to have any use for, and would likely pass. He went on about bringing in a LC he wouldn't be able to sell (we paid $500 deposit to have him trailer it in from Nebraska). He never offered to negotiate. After sitting in our Xterra & contemplating the LC, my wife realized there was no console in the Xterra, so she hadn't had an arm rest for 9 years.
Other than the KC metro area, no Toyota dealer in KS had a new LC on the lot.
I just looked at Little Apple Toyota's new 200 inventory in Manhattan, KS and they currently have 15 on the lot! That's a pretty impressive selection - much more than any dealer in Denver. Looks like all but 1 are either black or white though.
