I'm glad there is someone doing this level of work out there, because I'm surely not.

Phwew, been a long time coming.
Wanted to make sure everything was just right under the hood.
Jim Chenoweth 2F fired right up and runs like a champ.

Burning the paint off the manifold and down pipe first thing.:hillbilly:

Dude that is a sick job of mating the 62 air canister to the carb!!!! I am going to go back digging through the thread to see if I can find that portion!

Well folks after 5 years she is finally done. Got it reregistered, insured, and inspected last week. Been a fun project.
The TLC Performance rebuilt 2F runs like a freakin top. Got about 60 miles on it so far running around locally just to make sure everything is tight before i take any road trips.

Just want to thank the MUD community for alot of help through the various tech threads and the all important classifieds.

Special thanks to-

Why no original rear bumper?

I forgot to add, a balanced 2F is a wonderful thing. Revs effortlessly. Just wait 'til she's got 5K miles on her.... I'm sure Jim told you, but change the oil at 100 miles - 500 miles - 1000 miles. That's what MAFs engine builder told me to do, and so far it was great advice.

Have fun ! and more pix!
