Would like to see some of those metals drop at the next oil change. I should get my 800mi test results back soon.
You have a 4/24 build date right?
I am about to do mine around 4,000 miles. 4/24 build
My build was 2/24, added to my post. Please put build dates on oil analysis. Mine posted above 8/23
It's official now, possibly the first recall being issued in the middle eastNothing in the middle east yet, but everyone is on the edge of their seats, waiting for the announcement to come![]()
A “new block” with parts strewn all over the bay. No thanks.I was at the Lexus dealership yesterday for my 1/24 build date LX600, 15,000 mile service (plus oil change) and asked about the engine issue. All they would say is that there was that there was one in the service department with the issue getting a new block and that everyone is trying to figure out what is happening. I would love to get my wife a GX550 but I am a bit paranoid about having two Toyota turbo V6s in the family until this issue is resolved. Personally, I don't buy the "debris" explanation.
Roger that!A “new block” with parts strewn all over the bay. No thanks.
This situation is a mess for Toyota and does not instill confidence in their TTV6 truck platform. Period.
Ok and that means what? They sold a couple dozen?Spoke with two dealerships, one of which is one of the biggest on east coast, and they both had zero issues with this recall.
It means nothing whatsoever, so just sell your LX600 and GX550 ASAP! Oh wait, you don't own either just like 99% of the FUD pushers here.Ok and that means what? They sold a couple dozen?
When else has Toyota released a car with a massive multi-year recall due to complete engine failure? Let alone a Land Cruiser……It means nothing whatsoever, so just sell your LX600 and GX550 ASAP! Oh wait, you don't either just like 99% of the FUD pushers here.
