Anyway, let me know if you want them before I list them!

As you might have noticed, I've been putting my junk up on e-bay, mailny because I will not be in Japan for too much longer. So when my current possessions go, there will be no more!

I sincerely hope that you will take advantage of this great opportunity as I have little intention of leaving behind any of my belongings!

Thanks for looking!!

were worried mot

What on earth are you talking about not being in japan?no more tours of the factory? no more TEQ stuff?are you moving to the mainland (U.S)?i hope your not sick with some incurable disease.let us know more on this i'm sure i'm not the only one concerned.more power to you Mot.

John:steer::bang:

P.S Bring me some Voltes V stuff and Mazinger Z.

John,

No need to worry, bud!
I'm healthy as a horse, at least for the time being! ;)

The only incurable disease might be the same one that most of us on this forum has. :hillbilly:

I've just scheduled to list on e-bay the OEM jerry can seen below.
It's going to start tomorrow and hope that it'll go to someone on Mud!

Some of you may think I've got a lot of TEQ stuff stashed away for myself, but to be honest there are only a couple of items that are truly dear to me.

Not that you've asked for it or care about it, but I will have to post pics of them sometime!

Now come to think of it, I think I've alreay posted a pic of one of them: a paper weight like thingy!

Anyway, I'll try to post my other item in the future!

Thanks, as always, for looking and your moral support!

Yours,

Mot

OK, found some pics of the clock.

It actually looks A LOT cooler than it does in the pics.

It was not working as the clock hands (and cogs?) were rusted together when I first got it.

I called and took it to a local old-school clock shop with an old guy working there. He told me to give him a week and see what he could do.

So, sure enough about a week later he calls me and tells me that it's done!

I couldn't believe it until I saw it hanging on the shop's wall ticking away!
He told me that he had to warm up the mechanical parts so when he was trying to free them it would not break!

It takes one battery, but the pendlum(sp) swings and is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

The outside is in olive green color and the glass is flawless. The face used to be totally white, but has been exposed to the elements. But I think it just makes it much more unique, matching its age of 40 years!

Anyway, if I may brag some more while I'm at it, when Onur and CDan saw it their jaws just dropped! :hillbilly:

My wife is not a TEQ gal by any stretch of imagination, but when she saw it she told me "You're not selling it, are you?"

Thanks, Johnny.

Getting the TEQ clock kinda got me interested in old clocks.

And I ended up getting a wind-up clock that is probably even older than the TEQ clock.

It is so incredibly awesome (You can tell that I'm easily amused) to hear that tic-toc(sp) sound and the chime/boing sound every hour (and half hour) though!

BTW, it is made by Seiko when their name was still "Seikosha".

So, the moral of the story is that being addicted to one thing might lead you on/to a deadly path of another addiction! :hillbilly:

Sean,

I don't have the mounting bracket, but as always, if you have the PN handy I can check with Toyota here if it's available by a long shot!

Thanks for the compliment on the clocks!

I've been trying hard to not get any more of them!

Mot

here's the PN for the tank carrier :)

64910-69011 BJ4*, HJ47, FJ4*; TYPE A
77130-60010 BJ4*, HJ47, FJ4*; TYPE B

not too much of a difference between type a and b ...just a tab coming off the side ...btw they should come with the straps

Oh, Johnny...

Thanks a bunch and I'll try to find out today about their availability. (Don't hold your breath though, Sean! :hillbilly:)

The tool box auction ends tonight and as I was afraid.... the mounting brackets have been discontiued... :frown:

Tool Roll???

OK, now I've got one of these TEQ tool rolls that is in excellent condition up on e-ghey!

As always, I would love for it to go to a Mudder! ;)

There's a faint pinki-sh stain in the back/bottom of it, but other than that, the roll is in near-new condition!

Let me know if you have any questions about it!

And what do you know, I'm going to have yet another tool box listed tomorrow! :D

I would think the market is getting saturated, but what can I do? :hillbilly:

One corner of the bottom of the lid appears a bit tweaked, but other than that it looks better in real life than these pictures indicate (YMMV!)

Anyway, thanks as always for looking, guys!!

I hope you'll be able to put up with this nonsense for just a little while longer!

Yours,

Mot
