For newer guys:
The reason he had to move the springs back was to make room in the drive train for the doubler. The drive shaft angle would be way too steep if you just shortened it. The added benefit is a longer wheelbase, making it more stable on hills.

:idea::idea::idea: I was wondering....and the approach and departure angles will be better too since the rubber is closer to the corners of the frame......cool

Spring under still. so no axle wrap issues with el torro as of yet. Still needs to be test driven.

Plus Jrob would just scare the the axle wrap off his truck with his intense glare .

It's how he stretched it (. See post number 621).

On the agenda for tomorrow:
Install Rear bumper, install drop down tailgate, cut holes in transmission cover for shifters, cut rear fenders, move roll cage tie ins.......sure there is more just can't think of them right now.

Got Drill or I would participate. What time are yall quitting? Might come over afterwards.

Put on some 38s for shunts & giggles

Redid the roll cage frame tie ins. Frame plate also reinforced relocated front spring hanger mount.

Also removed rear cross member that used to house the rear lights.

Here is a pic of the rear spring hanger that we rotated 180*.

And why did you cut the tail lights off???
Nevermind, you have an IPOR rear bumper right?

wow.....crazy cutting and metal magic going down......looking good Jrob....sorry I didn't make it over...I was painting my interior and reinstalling seats, tank etc.
