Great looking Tacoma! You're gonna be really happy with that IM lift. PM me if you'd like any help wrenching, I'm pretty sure I'm free.

 Thanks, Anyone is welcome to help, supervise, observe and heckle.

Oooooo... I am a world class heckler... Pretty good wrencher too I guess. All you guys live too far away from me tho.

I love the Tacoma. I very seriously considered one but opted for the Tundra for the additional tow capacity. Looking forward to seeing the iron man on there.

I love the Tundra too. I've got a small bass boat and the FJ towed it well. I figured the Taco would do as well otherwise, I would have bought a Tundra. Same milage, more power. I rented a Tundra last week while in Montana it was fabulous.

Oh yeah. The Tacoma can tow just fine. We had an 09 4Runner (2WD V6) that the wifey was rolling in for a while. I towed a car hauler with my mini on it a few times. It did great around town. What I was more concerned with is towing a car hauler with the mini, a bunch of camping gear, and whatever else, when going to events like GSMTR. There are some grades up there in the TN mountains that I didn't really trust the 4Runner with all that weight behind it. The Tundra pulled like a boss when I went this year. 8% grade hauling a Troopy that weighed 11.2 million tons and it was just strollin. :D

Anyway, sorry for the tangent. On with the Taco build!

Aside from a significant beer/front strut detour the lift was simple. We just pulled the sway and tie rods and everything went together in record time. I think we were touching hardware for max of 1 hour to get it all done.

It looks WAY better lifted. Tacomas should come factory with that lift.

It does look A LOT better lifted. I'll test drive this morning and then go over everything with a torque wrench.
Here are a few quick pics. I'll get better pics later.

Torqued and ready to roll. I installed the DS spacers and reattached the e-brake guide.

Nice! If I had wheel studs we could go wheel :(

Looks great!!! I agree that the Tacos should be a little taller from the factory. They look so good lifted. They have to make them for the masses tho...
