I just read this through the web. Since I'm not home I only have this news link.

I'm saddened by the typical RCMP response. I can only hope this is not reported correctly. Shell casings
should have been retrieved. Not much can be done, but posting on social media might get someone to
own up.
I put it back to the law enforcement people: Are we supposed to protect our own property
with like means that is threatening our property and wellbeing? The correct answer is no.
The real answer is yet to occur. Man up people, this is truly pathetic. This was done by people
with means and decent transport, someone you might even wave to on the trail.
Dashcams with park mode.
 
Ignorant sh*theads. I hope they have comprehensive insurance (and are covered). I'd hate to see the insurance company find some reason to deny their claim. None the less vandals are not my favourite people.
 
Yeah, thats really sad, I've parked there in the past too. Would love to run into the people doing this sort of thing. Guess leaving doors unlocked to prevent windows getting smash won't help if theres tools like this out there now.
