I know these trucks are in high demand, but it seems to me that the miles on this one are working miles and maintenance was done the cheap way.

IMHOP this is overpriced about 2K

Ofcourse if you are planning to take it with you to Latin America the 22RE and the 5 speed are big plusses!

Yeah that would be the plan.

Its a little high, but those extended cabs with the 22re are hard to come by.

I would check to see if the timing chain and all that goes with it has been redone, it should have been done by that milage.

Outside of the "bro" wheels, it looks like a nice truck.

Agree about the wheels, it would look better with just steelies. Waiting for a call back about the timing chain.

that's the strangest vehicle description i've ever seen. the first thing listed is an anti knock sensor? i would hold out and look for an SR5. better gauges, A/C, nicer interior(steering wheel, door panels, center console etc..), intermittent wipers, cruise control and probably more i can't think of.

Yeah I was just thinking it would better to hold out. Thanks all!

I know people love these trucks but if it were me and I was going to drop 5K all at once for a Toyota mini I would save a little more and buy a 3.4L v6 Tacoma.

I love my 22re 92 standard cab but I bought mine for way less. For that much money I would want the extended cab and a stronger newer motor. Not to mention all the extras that a newer truck comes with like cruise control, int. wipers, power windows, etc.

I want the small 22RE and the standard tranny, but I really need a single cab, long bed. This truck would be mostly for hauling goods around in Honduras where we're gonna live. I'm in no hurry as of right now to find something and if I don't get something before we move I'll pick up a diesel version there. :D

I'm not sure what the model engine is in the Hilux in Central America other than it being a turbo diesel. That's really what I want/need. ;)

1KZTE.... I like the Toyota Diesels, but I might lean towards Mercedes simply because they are everywhere!!!!!

Cool...That's what I rented last time I was in Copán Ruinas (that's where our company is) and its a fun truck. It was the 4 door turbo and the time before that was the Nissan version with their version of the motor. The Nissan actually seemed faster to me.
