is this a 55 floor mat?

I picked up this floor mat in a parts deal and I thought it was a 40 mat. I tried to put it into a 78 40 series and it didn't fit. I want to sell it to raise some cash for the 40 but need to know what it came out of. Any ideas if its a 55 or later 40. It seems wide for a 40.

That sure is for a pig. Just bought one. Looks to be in good shape to.

definitely 55 cause it has the cuts for the seat base. the pto isn't actually cut out, just marked. the cutouts are trans/xfer at the top, then at the bottom, seat bases, heater, heater hoses, floorjack brace and brackets for fact tool bag

I called it a cutout because I couldn't think of any other way of phrasing it, but it's more of an area on the mat that could be cut for the PTO lever.

Must be for an early Pig, as it appears the notch for the rear heater is off-center

I just learned that the rear heaters were off-center in early pigs

I would say 74 is a good guess. I picked up one from a 72/73 that had the floor shifters cut out out but the transfer opening was the earlier three speed design cut out not a rectangle like this one.

earlier than a 77 cause my 77 has a centered heater...not sure when the swap was...75,76???

Alright I was cleaning out the garage again and found another mat. This might be the rear I'm thinking. Any ideas?

Yep, looks like Piggy mat for the rear seat floor area.

Put some Goop on there and it will be good as new!
