Is this 83 worth buying?

New to 80's toyotas. Does this 83 pickup look reliable enough for daily use and month long periods of no use?

That is not something I would want to daily drive. That truck is now a dedicated wheeler.

Is this the kind of rig you want? A dedicated wheeler that's WAY removed from a stock vintage truck? It's got a bunch of custom stuff plus the dual cases and upgraded suspension/steering stuff isn't cheap. So... $7500? I could be way off though.

Not a daily. This is a wheeling truck. Trunion eliminators alone make this almost a trailer queen.

And it's about a $4-5K wheeling truck.

Or I need to seriously reconsider what I might sell my FJ55 for.

Do you have another vehicle as backup? I “daily” an 80 on 37s with no AC. I’d “daily drive” that pickup for sure, but I always have another vehicle just-in-case.

I love that front bumper.
