yep, old style sits above roofline...new model sits level with roofline. Old style follows contour of door...new style just goes straight to a-pillar. Then the obvious internal versus external pipe routing.

new one definitely streamlines the airflow though, less kinks and turns.
and that is most important I would think behind durability and being water/dust tight. I have been checking out the Airflow as well and also another one sold by Ironman called AirForce....
So I finally have the snorkel installed (ss86), but I was looking for the two screws which hold the piece where the pre-cleaner should go, and well...there are no screws
is there a different pre-cleaner for the ss86?
Also, I came across a nicely built montero in the parking lot earlier with a pre cleaner(cant be seen in the pic) which is why I thought abt the precleaner, I liked the montero and the tube bumpers, props to whoever owns it! but I like the hundy more

Actually, I didn't! I got the idea because I saw pics of my dads old 40 series with manual hub locks, so I decided to just paint the caps
I already got rid of the headlight covers, can't ask for too much lol peer pressure is a bitch lol

I just took it out. I hardly ever listen to the radio. I use my Ipod. I looked at how you could shave some of snorkel to make it fit, but to me it didn't seem like the snorkel wall was was thick enough.
Same here, the antenna is just coming out. Since installing the iPod adapter the radio is never used.
