Is my Motor Cracked? Is this RTV on the Engine cover?

Picture of from driver side wheel well. I was under the '06 LX470 today , rigging up mini cats in the 02 sensors, and noticed this rubbery sealant.....is this indication of cracked block or cover?

Is there a test to determine if my block is compromised? Engine Leak Down test?

RTV would not repair a cracked block.
I just noticed it yesterday, should I peel it off? Can't tell if spill or applied?

Looks like someone gooped on some schmutz to avoid replacing the valve cover gasket.
Ah ok valve gasket - how do I check the condition of that- I see if they applied goop then it need replacement

You check the condition by seeing if there's oil leaking from it. I imagine if you peel the RTV off, there will be after. I'd leave it alone.
I pulled the #3 plug coil, is this looking bad? Looks like the point on spark is dry but the coil has a crack running up the seam?

I see oil on the back of motor not from rtv area, is a valve gasket job a big one? I'll add some AT-205 for the time being

You can look at other threads on the valve cover to judge if it's a big job for you and the coil pack condition to see. You could also consider just starting a single build thread to ask all these questions pertaining to your truck in one place.

It's not. a little bit of a pain to do it right but a valve cover gasket (and do the coil seal rings at the same time) isn't the end of the world. Could be worse.
I added 12oz of AT-205 to motor today- oil pan underneath is soaked on the outside with leaking oil.

I have a small valve cover leak and a small oil pan leak. No need to overreact, just keep an eye on the dipstick and add just enough to keep it on the F or just a tiny bit above. If it becomes obvious that you're losing a substantial volume, then start looking at gaskets to replace.

You can probably just re-torque the valve cover bolts for now. Use a torque wrench and be sure to know what correct torque is.

Hint: Its pretty low torque so dont over do it

I'll try this! I think the torque spec is 40 inch #'s?
