I'm gonna take a stab at moving this back towards tech.

Not sure if I missed it, but the plate at the top of the shifter console, is that customizeable?

I'm thinking I would just get a blank plate for now and do something later but not sure what my options are.

Definitely interested in that center console...very clean, and looking forward to the brown version. Second the question from @satchel is there a blank plate or customization available for the shift console? Seems like a good spot to mount a HAM radio as I don't need all the circular cutouts.

Yes, blank ones are available from the get go. Currently, there are:

And we’ve talked about some others too

Definitely open to requests for more options, but at some point it’ll be “here’s a blank one, have fun”.

Oh boy tough guy talk. Philosophically I find a personal connection to my physical possessions. And those that I cannot produce or wrench on myself I will find a reputable craftsman which shares my values to purchase from.

I’m sure if we spent an afternoon and a case of beer together we’d see eye to eye just fine. I drink miller/natty btw in case you assumed I was a big baller.

Im buying the tuffy console....to keep it with the tuff guy theme
and actually Delta turned me on to the Tuffy console, which shows you what a stand up company they are.

Like I said earlier, (you prob missed it?).. this Delta VS center console is the holy grail of boxes, forged in the fires of mount doom, it has bells and whistles on top of bells and whistles and dipped in golden nectar from the gods....the price is not for everyone but if you can afford it, buy it, it's the best console on the market to date by far and is well thought out!

you're talking about the faceplate/gauge plate? if so, absolutely available later, and should be able to offer some kind of exchange program too.

The blind hype is getting absurd. For the folks arguing that the Delta stuff is uber high quality, have you touched any of it? The pictures and hype all look great, but have you looked at it in person? I went over their 80 rear bumper first hand... and there were a lot of short falls that a refined high priced product just shouldn't have. Can it be fixed? Absolutely, and the tech forums are the right place to voice and discuss those concerns. The vendor forums are for marketing.

Here’s what i know about Delta:

PO of one (the lifted one) of my two LX450s had purchased but not installed their rear shelf brackets and Panhard bracket. I installed the Panhard bracket after looking at the engineering (*) (.vs an adjustable Panhard bar) and decided they have the right idea. I actually do think the truck rides better.

One of the shelf brackets had gone missing, so I wrote the crew trying to buy just one, and they sent me a replacement for the cost of shipping.

That spoke volumes to me, so now I just wanna know when I can order a console and all the associated stuff. Soon? Cup holders? The wife will love them. Soon?

When I get the FJ62 body on the FJZ80 frame project a bit farther along, a second Panhard lift bracket will be ordered. Interior is staying stock on that one.

I’m also a business owner, and we bend (and paint or anodize) an incredible amount of sheet metal for our products. I have a large CNC vertical mill and a laser etcher in-house and an ID guy on-staff who is the biggest car nut I know. I know what it takes to get to a product and keep it in production. (The kid had an idea when he was 12. Smallworks.com was the result, so yeah, we’ve made a few 100k high-precision injection molded parts, too.)

I could probably build a clone of the console(s) but I guarantee I’d spent more than $1k doing it, even with the (likely) free laser and brake time for a one-off from the shop we use.

(I may in-fact end up building something similar for the FJ55, but no shifter console there, and I might integrate a double-DIN head-unit with an amp underneath, so that one will be a one-off, and even then, I’m considering buying a second deltavs console just to rob the innards and lid. If that works, I probably build a second (And buy a third) to replace the tuffy in the 40.)

So when can i order?

looks like @mryanangel answered you (thanks Morgan!). trying to get it all up there at the moment. whole site is currently getting a backside upgrade to make listing products (for us) and choosing products (for you) an easier process.

mini-locker. A little pocket pistol type thing would fit there, but that is not what it's designed for. more like putting one of @NLXTACY 's little organizers, etc.

I have an APU-2 from @NLXTACY on the way for that drop down tray.

The optional Delta-Loc panels that you can add to the interior is the ideal spot for a locking holster...I have a Serpa with quick disconnect in mine now.

Alrighty folks, they have gone live on the site. Due to the fact our site isn’t 100% customizable, it is not possible to have all the options listed out (kind of like the rear bumper). The biggest one being the ability to combine center and shifter console for the discounted price of 995.
