3. I like the lines of the Proline, but I really want the headlight and grill guard bars that the other bumpers have. If proline made one with them, I might be sold.

How about getting the Proline and having the tube-work added by a competent/trusted fabricator?

Ive thought about that, but it would be an awfully big hassle. There is a guy in the LA Landcrewsers (sic.) club that could probably fab what I want, but again, it would be a huge logistical PITA and would add a big cost to the bumper.

I think I am going to wait for the TJM to become available again. It sort of solves all of my problems, and gives me everything that I want. I guess I will just need to be patient.

I believe they have solved the original mounting problem issues (mounts were cracking). If you are really keen drop me a pm and I'll ask for price and ship up to you. Bill

With the Toyota Bumper?

I could see my wife not talking to me for a while...and being ok with it.

I'd like to know if the Slee Blueberry could be modified to fit the 200 series? That would look sick

not my style although it is very stout looking

I am going to bump this thread, because I am in the same boat as the OP.

1. I really really like the TJM, but it looks like they are unobtainable right now, due to "restructuring".
2. The Ironman 4x4 Deluxe Commercial Bull Bar looks better than the ARB, but requires you to sacrifice the OEM bumper. (I'm not sure I want to do that!)
3. I like the lines of the Proline, but I really want the headlight and grill guard bars that the other bumpers have. If proline made one with them, I might be sold.
4. If I had a fairy godmother or magic genie, I think I would just try to get an OEM 200 steel bull bar directly from Toyota. yes, you have to cut the bumper too, but I think I could look past that if I was installing an OEM bumper. Unfortunately, after contacting multiple exporters, it seems that Toyota doesn't want these things floating around the U.S. I really wish I knew a way to get my hands on one. Does anybody have any ideas?

The TJM stock or lack there of has been a huge pain for everyone involved buuut it looks like come dec all will be good. There is some big money involved now which should solve the stocking problems which have plagued TJM.

I hope you are right.

I have been in contact with Extreme Landcruser. They are at SEMA right now though, so I haven't gotten a chance to order it yet.

Well, come on; out with it! Don't leave us hanging; tell us more.

There's no secret??? Summit racing is stocking tjm products if you didn't know already. Their stock arrives in Dec. That's it. I'd still suggest buying from places like extreme, slee, us etc if I were you because it might save you some.

Otherwise, TJM should have more stock in the USA than ever before, managed by a huge company that makes it their business to maintain and keep STOCK.:meh:

I had not heard of Summit buying up TJM stock. I had talked to a sales rep last week at Summit, and he didn't mention anything. Thanks for this info; that is helpful.

Haha. Yeah, there's that too.

I spoke with a rep at summit today (Bryce or Bryson). He told me that their posted lead times on the summit racing website under each TJM bumper were as accurate as they can be for right now. Also he stated that some bumpers would start being available in first quarter of 2015. TJM is going to start producing, for summit, the bumpers that they were selling in the US, however this was going to take some time to iron out.

I inquired if there may be some previous distributors (whoever that may be) with old stock to sell.
Bryce gave me TJM's San Diego office number and said that may be a good route to go for that question and they may help in locating items still scattered in various suppliers inventory.

For what it's worth give that a shot if you like to leave no stone unturned. I'm wondering if the Slee blue berry could be modified to fit the 200?

Thanks Willy. Extreme Landcruiser told me I can get one in first quarter of 2015, and they were very competitive in pricing. If they fail, I will take the steps to track down any old stock in the U.S. I just wanted to support a MUD vendor if I could.
