first time I have topped off coolant in in three years almost...the overflow bottle was at 3/4 so put a little in it.

Installed wheelskins cover in two toned euro model. Ordere perforated but did not feel like returning. I got brown top/bottom and oak sides to matck two toned Lexus with leather and wood.
Had this on previous vehicles and still best cover out there.
LX470 requires size C....not AXX as early model LC versions so check fitment before ordering.
No it is not as perfect as a custom job or replacing the steering wheel...but for $50+ bucks you get a cover that is matched for your vehicle...fits snug and properly....and requires you to thread some waxed thread through holes until on and finished. Any defects in appearance will usually be installers fault...from not pulling thread tight enough during install or missing holes. Twist it around to where seam is towards back of wheel on inside....work it smooth if needed...and enjoy. I had one on a 94 Cherokee that lasted 6 years before it needed replacing and even then was JUST STARTING to lift off the finish and get tacky. Sold truck before I replaced it...so no loss.
Next mod....replacing HIGH/LOW beams with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs after first of year and then a full detailing inside and out to clean her up after 2 years of abuse on trails, hunting woods, and daily driving.
The brown is really close to the brown on my upper door area....and the oak is really close to the ligher section....TAN might have been better for the LExus colors...solid tan or the brown and tan euro two tone like I got. Love the cover as always...fits great...picture does not do it justice for $42

Why didn't you just have it restored like I did? Cost me $100 and my entire steering wheel looks brand new.

i need mine to drive every day...i cant let it sit for a few days while a steering wheel gets renewed...plus for $43 this was worth it to me.

I remember 10 years ago when I tried Silverstars. Never lasted more than 6 months. After the sixth time (I'm not a quick learner), I went back to OEM. Hope you have better luck.
I do not. I didn't even think to take any before or after pictures either.
It took one hour and my wheel looks great.

I have used Silverstars for ..wow maybe 15 years...motorcycles, trucks, cars...never had an issue.

One question: How do you like the 4.88's and 33's? I'm thinking of going this route due to my trailer pulling but I want to make sure it's not too much gear running on the hwy unloaded.

I like the 4.88...before that with my 33 inch tires if I was using cruise control and went up the driveway it would downshift....not really...but slight grades even at highway speeds it would still need to downshift if using cruise control to maintain speed. Changing the gearing has put it nearly back to stock ratios....got back some pep during acceleration....I can use cruise control regularly on trips even through foothills of NC and SC.....and while it lowered my top end fuel mileage by increasing RPMs.....I think it helped around city traffic with less fuel needed to get the vehicle moving. That being said with all my modifications...I am getting 11.5 around town and 14.5 on highway at 65-7-mph...not very good but those Nitto tires are very heavy....and affect things more than the bumper, winch, and rear swingouts with their weight I think.
I am very pleased though...thought about selling her and getting a 2005 and only doing tires and sliders and leaving rest alone.....but just getting mine paid for so do not want a new car payment so soon. LOL

4.88s / ARB are on my list for next year. Nice work. 4.30s are indeed pigs on 35's.
