Finally decided to stop lurking. Looking at purchasing an HJ47 from a gentleman in Albuqerque so I'm sure I will have lots of questions in the future. My dad had a 40 years ago, so I guess it is just finally catching up. I've already learned alot just picking around here, so thanks for that already. Hope to have some pics of a project soon.

I've always had one project or another, so this is just a new direction. The spouse is the one who really likes the Troopy....who am I to disagree.

Haven't finalized a purchase yet. He had two and the one I really wanted sold out before I could get in touch. Timing is everything. You probably know the guy....Mike K., been a good guy to deal with so far.

If it does work out I plan on flying down and driving it home. I can't break anything if I have it shipped.....
