Longtime lurker, finally getting around to making an account and posting because I'm lost on this one. 2000 landcruiser, it's had the very intermittent sudden loss of throttle response for ages now and it seems to be getting more frequent but still nearly impossible to recreate. Never thrown a code, never had a light until 6 months ago when I lost throttle and the car went into limp mode not getting above 35 mph or so like always when the problem occurs, it threw the CEL, VSC, Trac Off trio. Scanned it and got an 02 sensor code for both upstream sensors so I replaced them. All lights went away and it seemed to make the problem go away until this week the limp mode returns. Still no lights of any form. Other than this it runs totally fine, never erradic driving or at idle, virtually no leaks anywhere. I did recently replace both front wheel speed sensors but not from a suspected issue it's because I broke them replacing cv axles awhile back. I've read up on the TPS/ pedal position sensor threads fairly extensively and I have most of their issues just no codes or lights so I'm thinking maybe... or could this also be a fuel issue? I've read just about every thread that exists on these trucks going into this limp mode and between TPS/pedal and fuel those guys all have the closest to my symptoms. All my instincts are leading me to electrical/sensor being the root problem I just don't feel like I have the symptoms of the usual other culprits for what causes the limp mode
