Installed a heat riser blockoff. Used the cruiser outfitters plate with a gasket on each side. Now the mounting holes are not alighed. Anyone have suggestions.

the offset on the bolt holes look to be much larger than the three gaskets pictured--?

The factory diagram for F145 and F155 only shows a single gasket, no plate. More important is the damper that diverts heat up to the intake when the is engine cold. Those tend to rust and freeze. Frozen diverting to the intake manifold can effect the carburetor.

Hence the reason he put the block off plate in there.

Very Happy with my home built fluid heat riser (Man-a-fre copy) and my header with custom made stepped washers that address the different thickness of the intake (1/4") and the steel header (1/2").
