one plug has 2 groves the other only has 1 grove if you look at the plug and connector its easy to tell.

Now that I have them properly aimed I am very happy with them Thanks for the start close and cover one light tips worked awesome. No doubt they are left hand drive :).

My light pattern looked a lot like charlieS photo when I started and now I have a nice no hot spot view like others have posted.
Cool.

Could I ask which was the key adjustment? Side to side? I feel like I am right on with the up and down.

Turning the lower hard to reach adjustment that I thought was left right did not seem to move it left or right. I am not sure what it did but after turning it a lot like over 10 turns of the screwdriver all the sudden it just looked right lol.

clockwise or counter clockwise or does it only turn one way?

It turns both ways, but doesn't seem to move the aim much... I believe it can be thought of like a 90 degree angle gear setup, where your screwdriver turns a toothed gear attached to a bolt which moves the outside edge of the light in or out, effectively moving it left and right - and kind of at an angle, since the mounting points are arranged in a triangle: there is on fixed pivot point (lower inside corner) and the up/down screw on the (upper inside corner). Logically, assuming the bolt is normally threaded, turning the screw in a clockwise direction should pull the reflector housing inward (thus leftward) and turning it anti-clockwise should move the reflector housing outward (thus rightward). In practice, I didn't see much movement.

I also added the plastic "bolt" in the outer corner and I did have to push on the lens to get the hole lined up so I am sure that also moved the aiming some.

There is a pic of the plastic mounting retainer several pages back.

Morimoto bits arrived. Projectors going into my Depo housings this weekend!

I started with piecing stuff and then gave up and decided to just go for it with the guys who have a quality reputation for doing it right: I worked with Andrew at TRS (The Retrofit Source).

I got the bi-xenon mini-h1 kit with v7.0 reflectors, added some butyl tape and got some splitters (so I can drive both my stock high beams and the bi-xenon shutters off my stock LC high beam harness).

I paid retail, so whatever it says on their website - $270 for the kit, $12 for the butyl and $5 for a pair of splitters?? Or close to that.

It should be a plug and play, no splicing, no hassle install. I'll report back after I do it.

Got them in. Pretty straightforward project. More dremeling than I was expecting (hole for projector post) and that made for a lot of plastic dust to deal with. Otherwise straight forward. Tons more/better light. Still need to get better at aiming.

And sorry, it's dirty, winter here does that.

My depo housing with quad projectors

Some one could start a side business. Would like quad projectors in my depos.

For connecting the top tab of the Depo lights onto the hole in the fender: (for the archives) after a bunch of trial and error, I found the 5/16" fasteners fit best. The auto parts store had all kinds of sizes and styles. I wanted the style with the sliding push pin, but they didn't have any in the right size, so I got the ones with the plastic Phillips screw packaged up for Dorman.

After driving with these this weekend, verdict = AWESOME. Expensive project, but worth every penny. Bright, tons of usable light, great beam pattern, sharp cutoff, looks great. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

For all of you who swapped. I need a passenger front corner lamp unit if you can part with it.

Having a slight issue with my DEPOs, wondering if anyone has any insight for troubleshooting. Right blinker light works for turn indicator and stays on for low beams as it should, but then shuts off for high beams... huh?

Bulb seems to be working, what do I check next?

Will post up what a blue Cruiser looks like with the chrome setup shortly... still have to adjust my beams but a huge improvement over stock from an aesthetic perspective.

Thanks

how are the lenses holding up? Any burns, melting or hazing?

Mine look like the day I put them on, no burns, melting or hazing.
