Not an upgrade but think of it as an electronic maintenance item for a 10-13 model

Just looking at it from feature continuity/fault tolerance perspective.

I'm currently working on same issue to do this on my '07 G35x

I'm planning to do this on my '07 G35x as well as that 14.5 year old drive is on borrowed time. They do an ATA lock on Infiniti navigation systems but apparently this can be turned down with FreeDOS and this ZU utility you need to run against the drive on native IDE.. no USB adapters.
