I was doing my PS flush and heard this creaking noise from the TREs. I’m thinking it’s the inner, based on that vertical movement, but I’m hoping it’s not the rack. Any thoughts?
Thanks, Friends!

Where we are finding ITRE issues. Most we'll see, when boots fill with fluid. Fluid gets into the sealed grease of ITRE ball, and contaminates.
We also are seeing some ITRE come unstaked.

The best way to check ITRE when boot not removed, is feel through the boot as you turn or wiggle tire. If any movement felt through the boot, remove the boot and inspect ITRE visually.

Check your ball joints>

Sure that’s not LCA bushings. They creak the same when turning.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? My 04 GX470 makes the same noise and the inner tie rod boots are wet on the bottom side.
