Drove a few 1hz 7 series and liked them alot...

Not to start a LHD drive vs RDH, but plain and simple with my kids driving its not a option at my house..

NICE

:grinpimp: yeah , just trolling and twisting nipples. It's a hobby.

GTS, you know , I owned a Canadian BJ70 for almost 5 years...that's an ETERNITY for me.

I could see myself getting a cheap prado with a blown engine and doing something to it, but not a fan of the 77's. :meh:

At the moment I'm eyeballing 60's and of course, 42's.

Corksucker, I asked for pictures, now the owner is showing it to some people from Washingtion....

Told the guy if it looked good a deposit would be put down..

Curious, did you check out that blue one up island?

He claims the body has no rust...

Has frame issues, but if it wasn't in danger of breaking in half imminently, I could do a swap in the summer.

Depends how fxxxed the frame is, and whether the body really is rust free.

( answer is probably "fxxxed, and NO." but what the hell.)

It'd be pretty tempting if the dude wanted to swap for a vw. :hhmm:

Although it occurred to me a while back, that my vehicle no longer has to conform to any sortof preconceptions. Can be ugly as fxxx and employers wouldn't care.

Kinda expands the playing field a tad....:grinpimp:

Haha yeah I figgered it would be.

Almost went up there on the weekend to check it out just for something to do.

Meh. Not worth the trip I guess...oh well. No rush.

We told the owners to tell a little more about the rust, its nothing more than engine, trans and transfercase...

Swiss fawking cheeze..

Edit, although you are prettty good with a welder spuds.., just put a frame under it and then find a body to put on the frame....good to go..

Makes perfect sense.

Not even sure I want a 60 to be honest...

Gonna do some test piloting :hillbilly:

How about this ? :D

LandRover3B

Ha thought that mighta been the one i built for a second there...link doesn't work i had to search.

It isn't, but its parked around the corner from me on the highway....kindof a piece of s***.

At least the buy it now price is only 12k...

I'd thought it might be ok for parts but never checked the price.

Not surprizing for a Bigfoot Shysters truck.

There is this video on Coastal Cruisers ads list.

https://forum.ih8mud.com/ca-bc-coastal-cruisers/484021-tlc-craigslist-thread-50.html

Its the last one with a video of an '83 with a 350 in it, no clutch. But the thing is only $1000 and the body does in fact look pretty good. Be worth a look I think.

Haha, yeah, I saw that one on the Coastal Cruiser thread too. Pretty funny. I'm sure it's long since sold though, as the date it was put on youtube is May 23, 2012.
