Thanks! It looks like I will need to bump stickers to the top of the list. The funny thing is that I have a few sticker designs mocked up in draft and I put those to the side as I didn’t think that they would be popular.

What sort of stickers would you recommend? Something with my logo or something more like a picture of a Cruiser on a trail?

I have many pictures in SW CO and my dad said that I could finally go through his collection of photos and negatives to help him digitize the collection. Here are a few that I found so far and I think that these might look good with some tweaks, such as removing the people.

Thanks for the idea! I’m not familiar with those advertisements and my search results were not very good. Do you happen to have an example?

I was also thinking about a commercial style design with this image…

This was my dads Land Cruiser and it is the same Land Cruiser that I have today. I think that it would be pretty cool to send him a T-shirt with these images on it.

Mike, search "son of a land cruiser" . Toyota advertising late '78, '79 when they intro'd the 4wd pick me up. I slobbered on many an off-road mag viewing those adverts. Then bought a '79 in '82. Been wheelin' 'yotas since then.

Although not period correct, here are some potential quotes for the second one:

“The unstoppable big six”
“Toyota goes where wheels never went before”
“Maybe we should have called it a tank”
“Trade up to a Toyota Land Cruiser’
If you're meaning the 40 fording
"When you just got to get there, TOYOTA"

It needs a lot more work, but I kind of like it...

That picture framed in a 40 series rear view mirror would be an awesome shirt. Maybe with Opher or Engineer's in the view through the windscreen.....

I remember the 'son of a Land Cruiser' adds when I was in Jr High dreaming of my own 40 or Hilux. Great advert.

Great idea, and I happen to have one of you on Engineers Pass. I need to put my FJ40 behind yours.

I have hundreds of photos like this but they were taken on cheep film and scanned digitally on low resolution. AI seems to help, but it is not good enough for printing on garments as the pixels are distorted and that tends to show when printed on fabric. Even the AI picture above of my Land Cruiser and Steve’s red truck took quite a bit of effort to clean up oddly placed pixels.

I will need to dig into our collection of film and have them digitized professionally.
