Just as I was thinking about how it's about time I get an air source for airing up tires, a York compressor sorta falls into my lap.
Some of you may already know the story, but I need to start near the beginning.
Ige & Pighead answered a Craigslist ad for a used 2F engine, bring your own hoist.
Arrived to find this '80 2F on a rolling chassis in a crowded garage. 2F also had a York compressor mounted to it. Loaded everything into my Pig and drove it home.

So, obviously, this is a heck of a find. A pump AND a mount. It's just a homemade York mount, maybe we need to improve upon it just a little, but it seems to work. And an idler pulley and a fanbelt even. everything I need to put it into my Pig.
So, obviously, I am going to be putting this in my pig.

Don't know how, don't know when, but I had to start this thread. I'm gonna take my time, take a few pics. I'm going to have to move my alternator, make it fit under the PS pump. That's stuff for another post, here's pics of it coming home to the Sty...

Naturally, I had to take it apart a little bit just to see...
It's been rebuilt, has numbers stamped in every rocker and stand. So as not to get them mixed up.
