yes,all79-95 toyota 4x4 wheels are a 6 on 5 1/2 pattern and will interchange.........you can also pull a set from an old 1500 4x4 chevy truck they are the same pattern also

Thanks for the reponse. I know the lug patterns are the same but will there be clearance issues due to different backspacing?:)

Shouldn't be any issues. I've put wheels from an IFS on my SA without problems. I've sold wheels from my SA to a buddy with IFS and he didn't report any issues, and he definately would have told me.

i run the allied steel black wheels, often refered to as rock cralwers. with a D style hole.

had the stock 4cyl calipers on the front of my solid axle.
put on the later V6 calipers. they rubbed.
so somewhere there has to be a back space difference

also
beware of using 12.5" wide tires on stock wheels on a IFS truck. the sidewall can contact the upper control arm

Simple question. Will 86-95 SR5 wheels fit on the front of my '85 truck? Thanks.

Uhhh.... NO.

At least they didn't on mine. Not sure how you guys are doing it, but when I tried to install my SR5 alloy wheels on my front after doing the SAS, they rubbed, I think on the brake calipers. No way they would fit without spacers.

I've since changed my front hubs to IFS style (required a special adapter), and now they fit fine. The IFS wheel hubs move the wheel mounting surface out about 1-1/4".

your prob right KLF i put 1 1/2 spacers all around as part of my lift on a factory SA truck i can run any steel wheels ive ever seen but ive never tried the alloys i sold the only set i ever had immediately.....but for myself and others in our local club ive pulled sets of 1500 4x4 Chevy/GMC 15x10 wagon wheels out of the junkyard to run 33-37 inch 12.5's and never had a problem

Stock 86-95 wheels will hit the stock steering arms on a SFA trucks. Also, they have 1" more backspacing than SFA wheels.

This.

Anyone know how much of a spacer you need to make them clear?

Dan

IMO, the best solution is what I did. Putting IFS hubs on with IFS-backspacing wheels puts the center of the wheel back to very close to the pivot point of the knuckle. Less stress on the knuckle bearings, no death wobble, no bump steer. It also reduces how much the locking hub sticks out so they don't get hit by rocks.
