Replaced my tensioner bearing following 2001LC vice/socket procedure, workwd perfectly. For anyone looking to do this who might want a bearing made in Japan as I did, NSK 6203-DDU on Amazon for around $8.

I also replaced the belt and idler pulley assembly with OEM since it seems idler bearing is a challenge. $75 on SE Toyota sale.

These two (bearings) spun for days and we're clearly worn out. Front of motor sounds a little better now, but I still have issues. Suspect fan pulley bracket. It seems very smooth but spends for a long time with the belt off. Also fan continues turning 1 to 2 seconds after motor shut down.

@Mike NXP did you figure out your noise?
At this point ive replaced everything that spins by the accessory and timing belt lol

When my fan pulley was going I was able to put a stethoscope on the passenger side of the engine in that area and I could clearly hear it whining/ sort of grinding away ....if you remove your accessory belt and the noise goes away then at least you know it's not timing related.

How much the fan spins is going to depend on how hot or cold the fluid in the fan clutch is ... when it's cold it should spin a little easier than when it's warm it should feel more locked up ( someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that)

My current noise seems to be related to timing belt idler, when I remove my accessory belts the noise is still there, so it's got to be timing belt related. but I'm kind of just buying some time on that one because it's not all that bad yet and goes away once warm.
