Left hand drive troopy, 1HZ engine, left hand side of engine, driver side.

…not a clue. Is that vacuum line to a potentiometer - does the shaft at the back turn?

Turns out it's connected to the non-OEM air conditioning compressor trigger.

And it's hooked up to these two points for vacuum

AC idle-up switch
