But here's the friggin' problem ... :frown:

Ain't got no bed. :meh:

The fawkin' GenRight rear fenders don't cover up the holes of the previous fenders ... despite them assurin' us they would. :bang:

So the bed's at the paint shop gettin' the holes filled and re-painted ... and ain't gonna be done 'till Friday. :crybaby:

So I'm stranded in Fenton, Michigan. But I took all the Boys in the shop out for some beverages last night at the local waterin' hole and had a LARGE time right up to closin' time. :grinpimp:

Great group of guys and I'm sure I'll be a reg'lar at the Sagebrush Cantina the next few nights.

I'll keep takin' pics too.

Here's the wicked cool LED turn signals. Had 'em reworked by a local LED Fella to make 'em 2 circuit so they're runnin' lites too.

I see alotta wide open trails in your future. Wouldn't wanna scratch those perty lil fenders.
:p

Brutus got trucked outta the shop today. Back to the exhaust shop to correct the location of the catalytic converter. Then to tire joint to get the front end aligned. Computer guru from AEV is comin' over to program the computer this evenin' so then she'll run.

Speakin' of AEV ... we made a roadtrip today to see their facility. Mainly just a warehouse here. Most the real work goes on in their Montana facility. Had racks and racks of really cool stuff though. The new JK rear bumper is beyond cool.

But the coolest thang by far was the 3 Brute boxes they had. Everything you need to make a Brute in one bigass box.

Also had the very first Brute that was built.

Then took a lil' trip to the paint shop. Tryin' to encourage 'em to get it done tomorrow rather than Friday.

Here's the 6" rear fenders and the holes bein' welded up in the bed.

I looked at that badge ... it sticks on with adhesive so not really transferable. :meh:

I ain't really decided if I'm gonna put a "hemi" sticker on 'er or not. It's really clean right now and I think I'll just stick with some White Trash stickers on the side.

I'm just hangin' out in the hotel right now. Paint shop says the bed will be done at the end of the day. Plan is to try to put 'er all together tonight so I can hit the road tomorrow mornin'. 1100 mile test drive.:eek:

:flamingo:

I'm located about 3 hours into your trip. If things are in need of 'adjustment', or you're hungry for lunch- stop on by.

I'll PM you my cell phone in case you need roadside assistance.

The body shop would do it for about $5 and .2 hours to "clean and retape"....... May be easier to buy new ones tho :grinpimp:

Got the truck, bed, and fenders all back to the shop for some assembly and final adjustments.

Shop's pretty dark so most of the pics didn't turn out worth a s***. :meh:

Fenders look really good ... enuff said.

Got 'er fired off and I did some high-speed donuts in the gravel parkin' lot. WAY COOL! Lots of power and very stable.

Gonna spend tomorrow tryin' to get some of the idiot lights off and puttin' some local miles on 'er. Figure on headin' out very early Saturday and makin' a non-stop run to The 3X's. :steer:

Why do you think I asked how he was going to bring it to Texas!

I am sure everythang will go as planned and I think Our President will have some support once he's in route.

This proves my assertion that Kowboy is not real bright.............no trouble shooting time on a project like this ............I am turning off my cell phone.
