[Front Range 4x4]

I would like to determine if my 55 is a 1968 or later but don't have a VIN number due to the trucks history, re-titling, blah, blah, blah.

I was recently told that the side-mount turn signals were only used in 1968 though mine is titled as a 1969.

I did find this on the right front frame horn which, if I knew what it meant, would answer my question: FJ55 81600

I recall a site, thought it was, SOR that has a listing but can't find it now.

8 - year?
Number - 1600?

FJ5581600 looks like a Nov '77 frame though...

That's the page TJ, thanks! The other night Terry mentioned he thought mine was a 68 not 69 due to the front turn signals. The 77 frame isn't a surprise since it was "re-titled" in Arizona and given a new VIN. Who knows its real history. Not real important but I would like to know what year to refer to it as.
