I think i wanna go for alil custom. I wanna replace the plastic with some diamond plates. I want clean welds exposed and a really bad ass tucked bumper. WTF are you mouthing about? Where in the world did I remotely say that since you haven't owned LC's before that you were an idiot ? My point is that I have owned LC's for many years and I speak from prior experience what the LC stood for. But, you wouldn't know anything about that .

Yes you are right I don't have any previous LC experiance, so I guess I have no basis to continue this discussion. My opinion differs from yours.

Is he going to custom fab them for you? I recommend a stepslider style (check out the slee stepslider for the 80 series) it will give your wife & kids a good step into the truck- this becomes more important as you lift it.

That is what I am thinking also. Obviously black powder coated.
He says he doesn't know if he will want to do bolt on or weld until he sees it. Either one will be fine I believe.
Looks are completely subjective. It might be ugly to you and stunning to another. Many are over dramatic on this looks thing and those who are...there's not a one of them who wouldn't glow ear to ear when they show up for a run (IF they had one).
I do, for one. If I plop down $70+K for any car, I want it to have some individualistic exterior design as well as be mechanically cutting edge. For fxxxs sake, if I want something that looks like a highlander, I'll get a highlander !! Haven't we been over this numerous times before ?? For someone to say "I don't care what it looks like, it is a land cruiser"....Either you are high or an absolute idiot !! So, what you are saying is that you have never bought a car based, even a tiny bit, on looks ??.....Fxxxing BULL**** !!
