Last week I bought Biodiesel and filled the 55 Litre Tank to the brim in preparation for a Trip on the Sunday to Woods Point via Trafalgar, and via Moe on the way home. My Daddy bought 20 Litres of Petrol in Woods Point @ US$7.37 US gallon. :D
That lot of Fuel only got me one short day trip, and I only went to the local supermarket on the way to get Biodiesel today. - Ususally I can drive straight to the Bowser, but today there was a Ford Transit facing my direction so had to go around it, but because of the poor turning circle I had to do a bit of a reverse, whilst doing this I heard the Engine slow as it was running out of Fuel. :hillbilly:
Anyway, the significance is I got 59.34 Litres into the Tank. Also, I broke the AU$100.00 mark at $103.19 which means I paid $1.739 per Litre or US$6.22 US gallon. :flipoff2:

* I'm s*** at story telling. :bang:

I love the stuff too!!!!

Even when it's more expensive than dino-diesel, it sure keeps my engine cleaner and smelling fresh. And a player like me, gots to smell fresh!

Someday soon I think I'll need to start refining it myself, just to see how inexpensive I can get this process....

So Jonathan, do you have biodiesel commercially available at filling stations there, or are you going to a specialty dealer?
There are two locations I've been to 'ere in Melbourne. SAFF is where I usually go.
Conservo I've been to once, where I believe I got crook fuel that blocked the Fuel Filter. To get to this crook Fuel I had to reverse the Car into a tight spot between the Tyre inflation area and the Building, then I went to use the Pump and it didn't work, so I walked inside to find out that they have to manually turn it on.
Also how many km/liter are you getting versus petrodiesel?
I've never measured when running Biodiesel, as the Pumps don't have the clicky stop, and because I fill the tank to the brim so I can travel as close to 400km to a tank as possible.
Using Petroleum Diesel from Mobil I got between 15 and 20 mpg.
