I think I have failed. I thought I had my good friend on the path to an 80 series LC. But I think he is texting me right now from a Heep Dealer :censor: where he is considering a Rubicon if they give him $10k for his Acura RSX.

Just got off the phone with him.
Well I am safe for now, of course the dealer wouldn't give him $10k :clap:but now I think he is going to try and sell it private party.
So I have some time to still work on him. :wrench:

I can't argue, a Rubicon is a nice rig and so is a 80 series. They both have their own +/-.

The axle issues are 07 productions year.. so it's simple, stay away from that year.

Just like you'd stay away from a non-full float rear axle, pre-4.5 liter 80 series.

Yeah, I told him for a brand new rig the Rubicon is probably the best out there, heck it's the only thing out there with solid axles up front these days.
Just don't be the owner once the warranty runs out. I kid I kid. I am really not a total Jeep Hater, I just like to poke fun that direction.

Yeah but they tell him as long as he is the original owner there is a lifetime warranty on the engine, tranny, and maybe the drive train?

Keep the links coming boys, I need ammunition.

warranty is int going to help him when hes on a trail miles away from the nearest dealership rubys are capable rigs just not as dependable as a LC just have to play the reliability card, but then again its always fun to say...haha i told you so:grinpimp:
