In Portland, ME for the last night. flight cancelled from Atlanta to Jackson on Thursday afternoon, so renting a Escape(irony) from Avis at ATL and driving home Thursday PM.
Ready for my own bed.

BTW we have been in a loaded out 2012 AWD Explorer 3.5 for the last week. Put 1000 miles on it. 4 adults packed with luggage, no power in the Maine and Canadian countryside. WEAK! But it has enough electronic BS to go to the moon and back.

My fam down in NOLA area has already been experiencing a power outage for 2 days now. Its almost like entergy turned it off before it went out. Supposed to be atleast a week before they get power back. I told em to come up here. Bring all their food and we will have hurrication food fest !
As of 1:00 yesterday!

with power being out that long I really do wonder about looting and what will happen. my brother probably only had a few days of food and with no electricity for his gadgets, I am sure they are out walking around (which is dumb in my opinion).

I hope things don't turn south in NOLA. Line Crews were pre staged above Alexandria and here in Jackson but they still can't start work due to wind, rain, and tornadoes......i'd say 5 days without power at a minimum for NOLA and lower 3 counties of MS.

not good.

I was on but nobody wanted to chat:meh:

im hoping to ship off my shocks tomorrow and the fed ex box says mine will be in tomorrow all though I doubt it...

we got about 3 inches here too....no tree damage or anything..very happy

It will end the burn ban in AR though.

Power is returning all over the NO area. They may be some small areas without power for a while and the areas in Plaquemine and LaPlace where they took the most flood waters will be without power surely but I don't see where it is going to be a week for the power to return.
